Purpose
To clarify the rights of members when not staying at the lodge
Policy
- Members of AACFC and other AAC lodges are welcome to visit the lodge when not booked in to stay, providing that they do not inconvenience members/guests who are booked in. They may use the lounge/dining room and kitchen facilities.
- Members who are staying may also invite a small number of non-resident guests (If inviting more than 2 visitors for dinner, please consult the manager to ensure that overall demand for table places will not be excessive.) Members are responsible for the behaviour of their visitors.
- Specific facilities
- The lounge/dining room and kitchen facilities are available to visiting members, including tea and coffee making and microwaves. This does not include use of the fridges/freezers for storing food. Priority must be given to members and guests staying at the lodge..
- The games room may be used but priority must be given to members and guests who are staying.
- The public shower may be used but priority must be given to members and guests who are staying.
- Skis and boards (in labelled bags) may be stored in the ski cages. No other items are to be left in the lodge unless in members' lockers. In particular, boots are not to be left in the drying room overnight.
- The spa and sauna area is only available to members who are staying in the lodge, and their guests and invited visitors.
- The laundry is not available to members and guests who are not staying at the lodge. In extenuating circumstances they may seek permission from the Manager. It cannot be assumed that permission will be granted.
