The club cannot accept responsibility for any property of members or guests.

Explanation

Unfortunately insurance companies are reluctant to cover property of guests and members. This means that members and guests must rely on each other's diligence to avoid thefts.

The club provides locks on all entrances. Members are expected to support the security of the lodge by measures such as

  • only sharing the door codes with people staying at the lodge
  • not leaving doors open or unlocked
  • identifying people before admitting them to the lodge
  • checking that property they remove from ski room and boot room is their own, or items they have hired
  • ensuring that their guests do the same

You may wish to ensure that valuables are insured under your own policies.

If you believe that your property has been taken, please advise the manager. They may be able to assist you in recovering your property or reporting the incident. They cannot reimburse you.
