If you are thinking of joining a snowsports club and are visiting Falls Creek, why not arrange to look around the Australian Alpine Club lodge?

Our lodge manager, Jess, would love to show you around. Just call on 0433 158 394 to arrange a convenient time. (Fridays and Sundays in ski season will not normally be possible.)

Membership may be granted to Adults who are nominated by two members of the Club, who know and vouch for the candidate. Other arrangements can be made for suitable candidates that are not well known by others in the Club, so don't be put off if you don't know any members.

A Nomination Form must be filled out to officially apply for membership. Acceptance is subject to approval by the club committee who meet approximately monthly. The Nomination Form can be obtained from

Upon acceptance, a non refundable joining fee of $3,300 is paid in addition to a Refundable Capital Debenture of $4,000. Debentures are only issued to Adult members.

Memberships are transferable with Committee approval.

Bookings are made using the online booking system. You will find information about making bookings on the "Book" tab of this website, and in the national booking information link.

Members accommodation rates are low and include linen and a hot cooked breakfast 6 days a week (not Sundays) in Peak Winter time. A continental breakfast is provided at other times in ski season

Any tme is a good time to meet other members in the lodge, but Race Weekend at the start of August is a particularly good opportunity. This involves a fun race suitable for intermediate and advanced skiers & boarders, and a catered dinner in the lodge. It's a great chance to get to know other members.

AAC Falls Creek also encourages children of members to join the club. Juniors are not required to pay the full sum until they reach 25 years of age. There are different costs for under 18 and 18-25 years old groupings. Debentures are not issued until Juniors become full members at 25.
