With COVID-19 restrictions in Victoria easing, the Committee is looking forward to being able to open the Lodge from Monday January 4, 2021.
Details around COVID-19 restrictions for accommodation houses are still somewhat unclear, however the Committee wishes to provide Members and Guests the opportunity to stay at the Lodge during Summer in a COVID safe manner.
While we can’t take bookings at present, we do wish to take expressions of interest (EOI) from all those interested in staying in the Lodge this Summer. The number of bookings that can be accepted under the current restrictions will depend on the number and composition of EOI’s received. For example, a single large family booking would be more easily contained in the Lodge than numerous smaller group bookings based on current restrictions. Furthermore, COVID based density limits on the number of people in common areas will also need to be maintained.
Falls Creek Resort Management have begun promoting their traditional Summer events such as the Dragon Boat Festival, The Longest Lunch and numerous MTB events so rest assured there is plenty to see and do whilst at Falls Creek this Summer! Please also note the Lodge is currently fully booked for the Peaks Challenge cycling event in March and with families looking to holiday throughout country Victoria this Summer, it is recommended getting your expression of interest in early.
Please note that the minimum cost to open the lodge for any booking remains at $400 as per recent advice and that COVID-19 cleaning fees may apply to some bookings.
